The Tailgate Taco Feast – For The Love Of Football

It’s that time of year again – football season has returned!

After months of anticipation and suffering through inferior sports to pass the time (cricket, anyone?), we can finally refocus our attention to Thursday, Sunday & Monday Night Football. Whether you’re supporting our beloved San Diego Chargers or another team, our common love of the game bonds us all. In the spirit of the season, we’ve created the Tailgate Taco Feast for you to share with your favorite football-watching crowd.

This hearty combination of meat, beans & rice, tortillas, guac and chips, plus all the fixings, is built for football-sized appetites on game day.

As an extra bonus, here are some neutral talking points for halftime. Viva Los Chargers!

Food for Thought:

  • The New England Patriots were almost named the Bay State Patriots.
  • Deion Sanders is the only person in history to both hit an MLB home run and score an NFL touchdown in the same week. He’s also the only person to play in the World Series and the Super Bowl.
  • The Super Bowl Vince Lombardi Trophy is worth an estimated $25,000 – that’s about 280 Tailgate Taco Feasts!
  • Contrary to popular belief, footballs aren’t actually made from pig skins; they are now made of cowhides.
